Serge has over 20 years of audit experience in the financial and banking sector with extensive knowledge in tax, accounting, finance, credit and information technology & information security areas. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2008 and a platinum member in the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

During 2012, Serge joined the Global Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) as an active member and became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) thereafter. In addition, He is a Certified Public Accountant (LCPA) obtained from the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) in 2009. During 2015, He achieved an accreditation in Quality Assessment & Validation in accordance with the IIA Standards.

After his professional career path as Head of Audit (Overseas Activities) at Bank of Beirut for 14 years, Serge has joined BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels - Belgium as IT Audit Expert within the Group Internal Audit team effective December 2021.
